1)Arrest all named in suicide note: Wife of deceased cop



"An IAS officer in Haryana, Amneet P Kumar, gave a two-page complaint to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

She gave him the complaint when he visited her home in Chandigarh on Thursday to express his sadness after her husband, Y Puran Kumar, who was a police officer, allegedly died by suicide on Tuesday"

  • What was suitside note by Y puran kumar?

The suicide note left by Y Puran Kumar was reportedly eight to nine pages long and contained serious allegations against multiple senior officers.  

Based on the information available from the investigation and his wife's complaint, the note generally alleges:

Harassment and Discrimination: He accused a number of senior officers of mental harassment, administrative bias, public humiliation, and discrimination.  

Caste-Based Bias: The note specifically alleges "blatant caste-based discrimination" and atrocities by senior officers of Haryana since August 2020.  

Administrative Issues: The accusations include unfair treatment in postings, biased performance reviews (ACRs), denial of official housing and vehicles, and attempts to initiate "false, vexatious and malicious proceedings" against him.  

Named Individuals: The note reportedly names a total of 12-13 officers, including a DGP-rank officer, other IPS officers, and some IAS officers, who he claims were responsible for compelling him to take this step.  

A Will: The note also contained a page written as a will, bequeathing all of his property to his wife.
