Rakesh Radheshyam Jhunjhunwala graduated from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai and joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India where he completed his CA in 1985

Growing up in the Marwari family, he became interested in the stock market at a young age and there was nothing unusual about attracting young people that attracted him to money.

His family hails from Rajasthan's Junjhunu district and his father, who worked for the Tax Department, was very supportive. Every evening, the great Jhunjhunwala talked about the stock market with his friends, much to the delight of Rakesh.

After completing the accounting, he entered the stock market with an initial investment of Rs 5,000 and in the first few years alone, earned Rs 20-25 lakh

In 1992, he founded RaRe Enterprises, a privately owned company, whose name was derived from the first two letters of his name and that of his wife (Ra - Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Re - Rekha Jhunjhunwala)

Rakesh Jhunjunwala, often referred to as Warren Buffet of India, entered the stock market when Sensex was 150 years old. He made a name for himself as one of the richest and richest shareholders in India.

One of his favorite funds was Titan, Tata's company. In 2002-03, he bought shares in the company for an average of Rs 3.

He had his fair share of fortunes, and, following the global economic downturn in 2008 and in subsequent years, his prices plummeted by 30%. But he postponed the loss in 2012

In July 2021, Jhunjhunwala announced that he would launch a new budget airline in India. He aims to own a 40% stake in the company, which will be called Akasa Air
