  • 289 industrial units have been allotted land in the Hajipur Industrial Area, covering 291.83 acres, with 304.11 acres still available for allotment.
  • He first visited Jial Seasonal Footwear Private Limited where 650 people (95% local women) are employed in making shoes and various types of canvas products, mainly for Indian Railways.
  • He then inaugurated the Camptex Exports Private Limited footwear unit, which manufactures shoes, rainwear, and other goods mainly for export to France and England.
